Surprisingly enough, my initial creation happened to be a piano! It might not be the typical choice for a beginner's project, but I had recently purchased an electronic keyboard as a Christmas gift for my husband, and I yearned to fashion something extraordinary for him. Thus, the inception of the unique "piano" came to be!

Having achieved a semblance of organization, my next task was to acquire a suitable workbench. I frequented both the Orange Store and the Blue Store, much to their delight, as I generously spent my hard-earned money there. However, I took matters into my own hands and decided to design and construct a worktable that could accommodate my table saw and router, while also incorporating storage space beneath the table. To my satisfaction, the worktable I built proved to be a success in meeting my needs.

Have you ever had the desire to embark on a new endeavor but felt completely clueless about where to begin? That's exactly how I felt when I came across the concept of creating a miniature dart board. Although I had a clear vision in mind, I lacked the knowledge of how to bring it to life. In search of guidance, I turned to YouTube, hoping to find inspiration and ideas. After watching various tutorials and gaining a general understanding of the design process, I decided to take the plunge and give it a shot. To my delight, the end result turned out remarkably beautiful.

Later on, I made the choice to embark on a simpler endeavor: crafting a compact noodle board. This project marked my early foray into working with hardwoods, and I must admit, the enchanting blend of Maple and Oak left me in awe. I wonder, do you also share an appreciation for their exquisite beauty?

Another new thing.  A Challenge Coin Rack.  Never heard of one?  Let's see if I can explain. A Challenge Coin was originally just for the U.S. Military and was given by a commander to a soldier as a recognition.  Now they are given for many different reasons by the military and police forces.  The display shown below will hold about 48 coins.  I was so honored to be asked to make this for a former military man who now handles the "Angel Flights" at DFW airport.

After completing the piano, I came to the realization that my shop needed some organization. Consequently, I constructed a set of functional shop shelves. While they may not be aesthetically pleasing, they have significantly improved my level of organization. It goes without saying that organization is indeed beneficial, wouldn't you agree?

Having acquired a workbench, I found myself faced with the challenge of crafting an item whose construction I was unsure of. The idea of having a bench in my living room, specifically designed to hold shoes and coats when guests visit, sparked my interest. Thus, I embarked on creating what I called a "Mud Room Bench," and to my delight, it was a resounding success! This experience served as a valuable lesson, as I realized I was truly expanding my knowledge and skills.

A dear friend of mine approached me with a simple request: to create a dog kennel. However, as we got deeper into the project, it evolved into something much more substantial. In the end, I ended up crafting four kennels for their family, two of medium size and two of remarkable largeness. I take great pride in stating that the final results are truly magnificent and exude sheer beauty!

The most challenging endeavor I've ever undertaken was confronting this particular task. It involved a grueling five-week period that bordered on torture, yet it resulted in the creation of the most exquisite masterpiece I have ever constructed. Countless elements were entirely foreign to me. Angles, for instance, were an enigma that I had never attempted to comprehend. Likewise, I had no prior experience with handling epoxy. This project necessitated copious amounts of learning, experimenting, and further learning, but the end result is simply breathtaking. Although I must confess, the bench and chairs were not my own craftsmanship; I procured them from a store.

This is only the beginning, and certainly not the final one I'll create. However, it holds a special significance as the first of its kind. It taught me something valuable once more, revealing the profound impact that cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and other small kitchen items can have.
